Capital Meats recently partnered with the Bea Gaddy Foundation in Baltimore, MD to provide Thanksgiving Dinner to the less fortunate. Capital Meats helped provide over 1,000 lbs. of turkey and steak for the annual event that feeds the homeless in the area.
"I was very proud of how my guys came together to help a local charity in its time of need," said Maryland District Manager Liam Tunney. "Capital Meats has helped me and many others come from some of the same situations of need, so it feels good to be able to give back to the community where we came from and where we live and work."
Bea Gaddy rose from a life of poverty to become Baltimore's leading advocate for the homeless and poor. She started an annual Thanksgiving Day dinner tradition that has lasted over 20 years and serves thousands of people every year.
Capital Meats has 11 office locations located in 4 different states along the East Coast that include Maryland, Virginia, Tennessee and North Carolina. Giving back is important to Capital Meats because we live and work in these same communities and we are invested in making sure they continue to thrive.
