Capital Meats recently gave approximately $33,000 worth of in-kind product to the Boys & Girls Club of Hartford County, MD.
The product helped raise funds for the Boys & Girls Club, who provides after school care for more than 3,700 children annually.
"We are pleased to welcome Capital Meats as a supporter of Boys & Girls Clubs. This donation will go a long way to supporting the youth development programs offered at our five Club locations throughout Harford County," said Tim Wills, Executive Director for the Hartford County Boys & Girls Club. "Strong vibrant corporate support is key to inspiring young people to realize their own Great Futures."
"The Boys & Girls club provides a safe environment for thousands of children," says Capital Meats Owner Scott McMichael. "We are happy to have the opportunity to give back to an organization that has helped so many in our community."
Capital Meats also collected over 20 boxes of toys for the Edgewood Boys & Girls Club, which they delivered with the help of Professional Boxer and Maryland Local Seth Mitchell.
"I think it's very important to get involved and give back to your community," said Mitchell. "I'm a firm believe that one didn't get to where they are by themselves. To give back something tangible, or share some words of wisdoms can make a big difference in people's lives."
